Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. ~Matthew 6:33 April 20, 2012 Dear Parents, Next week is show your “School Spirit Week”! We have a special theme for each day. Those that participate will receive something fun for that day! The more people that participate, the more fun it will be! Help remind your student what the theme is for each day. We have combined several themes for each day, to help make it so EVERYONE can participate! Monday/Aloha! It’s Hawaii Day! (No bathing suits!) Wear your hats, flip-flops, sunglasses, flowered shirts, leis, dress it up! Tuesday/ Have crazy hair and wear your Pajamas to school day! Wednesday/ is our school class pictures day. So, today is fancy day! Dress up and look spiffy! Thursday/ Theme day…, such as cowboy, sports, biker, super-hero, nerd, etc…you choose your theme! Friday/Clash & backwards day! (yes, we are going to look just awful!) But it is fun! Have a wonderful weekend! All of us at SJA Mon., 4/23-27 School Spirit Week, fun, fun, fun! Wed., 4/25 Class picture day Wed., 4/25 Hot lunch, Pizza buns Mon., 4/30-5/4 Grades 5 & 6 to Outdoor School Mon., 4/30-5/3 Grades 7-10 to “Plan B/highly eventful week in the Northwest!” Fri., 5/4 UCA Gymnastics show @ 11:00 Come join the fun!! Mon., 5/7-11 Week of Prayer with Gordon Wed., 5/9 Hot lunch, Spaghetti Fri., 5/11 Visitor’s Day! Invite a friend!! Wed., 5/16 Hot lunch, Chili & Cornbread Thurs., 5/17 Spring Program/Book Fair Wed., 5/23 Hot lunch, Grilled Cheese Mon., 5/28 Memorial Day- No School Wed., 5/30 Hot lunch, Sub Sandwiches Tues., 6/5 8th Grade Graduation Wed., 6/6 Last Day of School- ½ ½ 1/2 day of school |
