Welcome Back to School - August 23 Dear Parents, Welcome to Sandpoint Jr. Academy!!! We have a miracle to share with everyone! We got our 6 kindergarteners!! Wahooey! Thank you for your prayers! We have our 6 little miracles with Mrs. Morse. You should see them! As a matter of fact, we have a school full of miracles! Our school has grown this year, and we are so pleased with each student that we have. Thank you for instilling your trust in us to educate your child. We look forward to a wonderful year. Just a couple of thoughts as we start the school year together; welcome! We have a wonderful year planned, with an amazing group of faculty members. Family Fun Day is this Thursday! This year, the weather reports show that Thursday is to be in the mid 80’s. With this in mind, the faculty has put together an afternoon on the lake in lieu of running around on the field and being very hot, like we have done in the past!! Please watch for further information and required items for this very fun event on Thursday!! Besides wanting to welcome each of you to another school year, I want to get each of you acquainted with several things that we do at our school. As most of you know, school begins at Every Thursday a school newsletter will be sent home. In the school newsletter will be upcoming events, classroom info and other truly important, riveting information! You can also find out about any upcoming events by looking at the bulleting board in the hallway outside of the office. All newsletters, school events and hot lunch menus will be posted on our school website, www.sjasda.org by Thursday evening. Please look for your child’s letter from their teacher explaining classroom procedures and activities. This will be further explained to parents at Open House on Thursday, September 9. Open House begins at Each class will be dismissed at We have several parents who have asked about parent participation opportunities. This will also be listed weekly in the newsletter, and discussed at Open House. Currently we have several projects available. Once again, we will be having classroom sponsored Hot lunches served on Wednesdays. This will begin after Open House. This is a wonderful way to help our school. Hot lunch schedules for parents to sign up to help with this will be posted in the hallway outside of the Principal’s office. On behalf of the faculty and staff, we are very excited about this school year, and very pleased that you have chosen to be a part of our SJA school family. You are always in our prayers, please keep us in yours!!
